Toddler-friendly Bliss Balls

minutesA simple, no-bake snack perfect for little ones! These are naturally sweetened, contain healthy fats, and have a lovely strawberry-coconut flavor.
Ingredients
70g raw cashew nuts
2 tbsp ground flaxseed gelled with 2 tbsp water for 5 minutes
100g desiccated coconut
50g frozen strawberries, thawed slightly
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
For rolling: 20g desiccated coconut
Directions
- Prepare the flaxseed gel: Mix 2 tbsp flaxseed with 2 tbsp water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it thickens.
- Add all the blitz ingredients (cashews, gelled flaxseed, 100 g coconut, strawberries, maple syrup) to a food processor.
- Pulse until the mixture comes together into a sticky dough. It should hold when pressed but not be overly wet. If it’s too dry, add a tiny splash of water or maple syrup. If too sticky, add a little more coconut.
- Squeeze and roll into small balls (toddler-sized, about 1 tbsp each).
- Roll each ball in the extra desiccated coconut to coat.
- Place on a tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5–7 days or freeze for longer.
Notes
- This recipe is interchangeable with most frozen fruits – try it out with blueberries, mango, raspberries or banana!
