kcalRich, creamy chocolate Greek yogurt bliss! This easy 3-ingredient treat is high in protein, naturally sweetened with maple syrup, and perfect as a healthy dessert, snack, or breakfast topping. Strain for extra thickness and indulge your chocolate cravings at any time!
Ingredients
2 cups (500g) Greek yoghurt
2 tbsp organic cacao powder
3 tbsp maple syrup, adjust to taste
Directions
- Add the Greek yogurt, cacao powder, and maple syrup to a food processor or high-speed blender.
- Blitz until completely smooth and well combined (about 30–60 seconds). Scrape down the sides as needed.
- Set up a strainer over a bowl. Line the strainer with cheesecloth (or a clean, fine kitchen towel/muslin). Pour the chocolate yogurt mixture into the cheesecloth. Fold the edges over or twist gently to cover.
- Let it strain in the fridge for 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on desired thickness:30–60 minutes: softer, more mousse-like
2–4 hours: thicker, almost like a spreadable cheese or labneh
Once it reaches your preferred consistency, transfer to an airtight container. - Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
